We’re going to do something a little different tonight, so bear with me.

UPDATE: Here’s some Gibberish from the Blogger site.

Long-time readers will recall that I had talked about redoing my format. That is, WordPress for the News and Blogger for the Gibberish. I was going to make the big switch on the first of the year but, for various reasons – I didn’t feel like it, mostly – it didn’t happen. There was a change in that I quit posting both day’s Offerings at both Blogger and WordPress because, well, I wanted to.

Anyhow. I’m not going to do a deep read into the News. Tonight Offering is going to (probably) turn out more bellyaching and navel gazing than News. Why? Because I am sick to death of writing about coronavirus. I am tired of thinking about it. I’m worn out from it dominating the news and media. I know the rest of the world is tired of dealing with it.

The problem is it’s drained the well and I really can’t squeeze anymore out than “wash your hands and stay home if you can”. Sure, there’s more going on, but I need a break. I’m blocked and need to rest.

And besides, I see some more News worth looking into. Tomorrow we’ll see the result of another round of primary voting today that could make or break Bernie Sanders’ hopes and dreams. Furthermore, because of the coronavirus some states have discussed putting off the primaries for a bit, Ohio already has, and a good number of folks just aren’t able to go to the polls for this reason or that. We already knew the voting system had cracks in it, but this whole affair is showing the need for much change.

There’s going to be a lot to write about in the future. The long-term affects of the coronavirus, as well as the federal governments ham-fisted approach to dealing with it, is going to keep journalists, analysts and other assorted smarty pants busy for quite a while.

Anyway. When I get whatever I’m going to do knocked out over at Blogger, I’ll post the link here. We’ll see how this all works. Beyond that, wash your hands and stay home if you can. And for what it’s worth, I haven’t written anything at Tumblr lately worth reading, so yeah.
